Thank you for your continued engagement and input into the accreditation process. The NAAB Board of Directors carefully considered the feedback received from the May 12 - June 11, 2026, Call for Public Comment and has approved the revisions to the procedures effective as of today. These revisions are intended to clarify and streamline our processes in support of our programs.

Now in Effect
- Revisions to the Corrections of Errors of Fact and Program’s Optional Response to the Visiting Team Report.
- Revisions to the Reconsideration Process and the addition of an Appeal Policy.
- Addition of the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI Systems) in Accreditation (Appendix 2).
- Change of Nomenclature: Changing the name of the "Plan to Correct" to a "Progress Report".
- Miscellaneous revisions included throughout the document.
Additionally, following the approval and publication of the revisions to the 2020 Conditions for Accreditation in March 2026, we are pleased to share an updated version of the Interpretation Guide to help programs and site visit teams.
