Webinar & Dialogue: Changing Higher Ed Policy Landscape

NAAB is pleased to invite you to participate in a dialogue about the changing policy landscape and its impact on the higher education community. We will host three interactive conversations where programs are encouraged to share their perspectives with peers and NAAB leadership on navigating new policies related to higher education and accreditation.

To provide foundational insight, the discussion will be preceded by a complimentary webinar led by members of the Higher Education Practice Team at Husch Blackwell.

This session will explore priorities of the new administration and their implications for higher education and accreditation.

The session, led by Husch Blackwell’s Julie Miceli and Anne Cartwright, will cover critical topics such as: nondiscrimination, freedom of expression, accreditation, Federal Student Aid, state and federal regulatory considerations, as well as proposed federal budget updates addressing student loan limits and campus funding. A key area of focus will include the U.S. Department of Education’s (“ED”) February 14th Dear Colleague Letter on Race in Education, subsequent litigation challenging its enforcement, as well as similar policies from other federal agencies. Another key area of focus includes Executive Order 14279 “Reforming Accreditation to Strengthen Higher Education” signed by President Trump on April 23, 2025.

The Husch Blackwell webinar will be held on June 10, 2025 at 4−5pm ET. Register Here
