Explanatory Note on Part II, Section 3 of the 2009 Conditions for Accreditation

Originally addressed in Condition 12 of the 2004 Conditions for Accreditation, the evaluation of preparatory/pre-professional education is now a separate condition.

Preparatory/pre-professional education will no longer be evaluated during visits except under very limited circumstances. Programs must instead demonstrate in the APR that students entering graduate programs that require preparatory/pre-professional degrees are being evaluated and advised appropriately.

The NAAB offers an explanatory note to aid programs in preparing this section of the APR. Please click here for the full note.
