EESA Fees Structure

  • The fee for an EESA evaluation should be submitted through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
  • Fees for all other EESA services including Reinstatement, Reactivation, Re-evaluation, and Partial Re-evaluation will be invoiced separately. Payments must be submitted online as outlined within the invoice. Services will not be rendered until the payment has been received.

EESA fees are not refundable. Below is the fee schedule for EESA services:

EESA Services


Evaluation (completed using the current NCARB Education Standard)


Discounted evaluation for graduates of a NAAB International Certification program or a program recognized by the Canberra Accord 


Reinstatement (required for records that have not been updated in the past 12 months)


Reactivation (required for applicants who do not provide documents for evaluation within 24 months of their initial application)


Re-evaluation (required applications evaluated based on a version of NCARB Education Standards older than the 2020 version)   


Partial Re-evaluation (applications evaluated between January 1, 2021, and December 17, 2023, where deficiencies in the Liberal Arts subject area were identified and the applicant seeks re-evaluation of upper secondary coursework in the Liberal Arts completed prior to admission to an architecture program outside of the United States and Canada)
