The NAAB offers an explanatory note to aid programs in preparing Section 3 of the 2009 Conditions for Accreditation, the evaluation of preparatory/pre-professional eduction, for their APR.

Please note the NAAB will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2010, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The National Architectural Accrediting Board offices will be closed on Monday, December 21 due to the continued hazardous conditions resulting from the recent snowstorm in the D.C. area. Business operations will resume on Tuesday, December 22 at 9:00 a.m.

The National Architectural Accrediting Board has suspended its search for a new associate executive director in order to review the function of the position within the organization. It is expected that the search will reopen early next year.

On October 23, 2009, the Board of Directors of the National Architectural Accrediting Board approved the first reading of the NAAB Procedures for Accreditation, 2010 Edition. The document is now ready for review and comment by the general public.

The deadline for applying for the position of Associate Executive Director has been extended to September 1, 2009.

The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), Inc. at its July 2009 meeting elected the following individuals as new members of the Board. In addition to electing new members, the Board of Directors elected the 2010 Executive Committee.
